Information: H. Edwin Detlie is a Past President of the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, Inc., is a Member of the Larson's National Workers' Compensation Advisory Committee for LexisNexis Legal Publishing, and is Chair of the Iowa State Bar Association's Law Practice Management Committee.
He has spoken at numerous continuing legal education events concerning workers' compensation, Social Security Disability and technology in law offices. He is a member of Larson's National Workers' Compensation Advisory Board for LexisNexis, the largest legal publisher in the world, and regularly posts a blog on developments in Iowa Workers' Compensation law for LexisNexis.
He also serves as co-chair of the Technology Committee of the Iowa Association of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, Inc., is on the Technology Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association and is a member of the Association of Nazarene Technologists. In early 2007, he launched www.joomlawyer.org, about building excellent websites for lawyers and law firms, using Joomla free open source software. He was appointed to chair the 2009 Workers' Compensation Symposium of the Iowa Workers' Compensation Commissioner's Advisory Committee.
